In the upcoming iOS 26, users will finally be able to set custom ringtones with ease.
While the option technically existed before, it required file format conversions, GarageBand workarounds, and several extra steps — hardly user-friendly.
Now, it’s much simpler. According to beta testers, iOS 26 lets you assign any audio file as a ringtone, as long as it’s under 30 seconds in length.

After years of waiting, Apple has finally introduced a feature that many considered basic.
So… thank you, Android users, for almost 20 years of beta testing?!
