Recently, news appeared about the next season for the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime series, which is set in the world of the game Cyberpunk 2077.
At the moment there is no exact release date, but the series is expected to arrive soon on Netflix. According to information on the cyberpunk.net website (link), the new season will have 10 episodes. The story will pick up after the events of the first season. As the site says:
“David is dead, but Night City lives on”
The writer, producer, and showrunner of the project remains Bartosz Sztybor.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 is being developed in collaboration between CD PROJEKT RED and the animation studio TRIGGER.
